Visiting the website. Zorgfuik uses no accounts and no advertising. Cas ICT hosts the website and processes standard technical log data, such as IP addresses, when this is needed to deliver and secure the site. Webalizer creates aggregated statistics from those server logs and places no separate cookie.
Google Analytics. Only after consent, Zorgfuik.nl uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, where visits generally start and which important functional buttons are used. Google may process technical information such as the browser, device category, broad location and connection IP address. Zorgfuik does not use Google Signals, User-ID, advertising personalisation or remarketing. No consent means that Analytics is not loaded.
Sharing your experience. The experience form runs through Zorgfuik's own form environment. We process only what you choose to enter, and we expressly ask you not to share unnecessary personal data: no citizen service numbers, no medical records, no names of care workers or family members. Stories are used exclusively in anonymised or summarised form to reveal patterns.
The objection-letter generator. Information entered in the generator stays in your browser. It is not sent to Zorgfuik or Google Analytics.
The petition. Signing takes place through Petities.nl, which is itself the controller for that processing and has its own privacy statement. Your name is not publicly visible on Zorgfuik. When the petition is submitted to its recipient (for instance the Dutch House of Representatives), certain details may be needed to verify that signatures are genuine.
Contact. If you email, call or message us, we use your details only to answer your question.
We rely on legitimate interests for secure hosting, technical logs and aggregated server statistics. Google Analytics is based on your consent. Sharing an experience is also based on consent, which you can withdraw. Contact details are processed so we can answer your question or request.
We never sell data. Experiences are not forwarded to doctors, municipalities, insurers, care providers, Veilig Thuis or any other organisation. We use only services needed to run and understand the website: Cas ICT for hosting, Google for Analytics after consent and Zorgfuik's own form environment for forms. We share no more with them than is necessary.
Some suppliers, including Google, YouTube and the form hosting environment, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the supplier must use appropriate safeguards, such as a valid adequacy decision or approved standard data protection clauses. Zorgfuik limits these services and the data sent with them where technically possible.
Technical log files are kept only as long as needed for security and reliable operation. Google Analytics cookies are limited to one year from the first measured visit and are not extended on every later visit. User and event data in Google Analytics is retained for no more than fourteen months. Shared experiences are kept for as long as needed to reveal patterns, or until you ask for them to be deleted. Contact messages are kept no longer than needed to deal with your question.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing and to object. You can withdraw Analytics consent at any time through . Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal. To exercise your other rights, email privacy@zorgfuik.nl; we respond as quickly as possible, and within one month at the latest. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
The connection to Zorgfuik.nl is encrypted with https. We limit access to submitted experiences, deliberately collect as little as possible and do not ask you to upload a full case file. The website does not use personal data for automated decisions, medical assessment, risk scores or personal visitor profiles.
If the website, the services used or the responsible organisation changes, we update this statement and the date above. If a change is substantial, we also explain it clearly on the website. More detail about Analytics, cookies and changing your choice is available in the cookie policy.

We know that many people who recognise the care trap have lost trust before: through poor handovers, unclear case files, desks pointing at each other or organisations that mainly ask for yet more proof. That is why we ask no more than necessary and use stories only to reveal patterns.
